Maiden apartment on "Voykovskaya"

The apartment on Voykovskaya was liked by the Nastya family with high ceilings and spaciousness. Redevelopment and repair took place with the active participation of the owner herself. She accidentally stumbled upon the website of the Remarch design bureau. And already at the first meeting I found a common language with the founders of the company - young friends, one of whom is engaged in management, and the second is an architect. The project was carried out by the chief designer of the bureau, Lena Evteeva.

Nastya wanted to create an "island of calm in the crazy rhythm of Moscow", the most relaxing interior. When developing the design, they were based on the hostess's favorite color - olive. They picked up to him white and gold. The overall style of the apartment turned out to be classic with references to Provence. Nastya saw the olive-white striped wallpaper in photos on the Web and immediately wanted her home to be the same. They were found at the Swedish brand Borastapeter in the store Artique-home.com. They did not save on finishing materials, since repairs were done for many years.

The design bureau prepared 3D-visualization of the apartment with furniture, and Nastya was already looking for all the interior items herself. She bought most of the furniture at IKEA: there was a white retro series matching the style. The hostess ordered an unusual shelf in the room in the In-the-House workshop.

Nastya brought accessories from different countries. She saw a white carpet in an ordinary supermarket in Dubai and realized that she would not part with it. I had to carry it with me the whole trip. A golden deer in the corridor was also found in Dubai, but Nastya acquired a deer that hangs in the kitchen in Vienna when she lived there.

Overhaul was going to be done only in the bathroom area, but the construction of the house turned out to be so dilapidated that replacement was required throughout the apartment. The biggest difficulty was the replacement and transfer of water communications when combining a toilet and a bathroom. But nothing had to be redone in the bedroom: the niche in which the bed now stands was already in the apartment when Nastya moved into it. As soon as she saw this zone, she immediately decided to place the bed there.

The customer is always right: waiters versus visitors

Vasily Bykov walked through the Moscow cafe and asked the waiters what they did not like about the visitors. I hate those guests whom you serve at 100%, and they bastards do not leave a tip. Goons! Some girls, when a man leaves for tea, and then goes to the toilet, take the money for themselves. And then there are men who look at you with a lascivious, piercing gaze and think about dragging them somewhere.

How to turn an abandoned house into a children's center

At the end of last year, the old house in the Arbatskaya area found a new life. The rickety wooden mansion was repaired, the facade was painted, and children's laughter is now heard from the windows. All this is the work of Vera and Oleg Stepanov, the Moscow family and the parents of four children who last year renovated an old house in the center of Moscow, moved there and opened children's studios there.

It’s not the first season that they’ve been playing the Mafia on TV.Twister is the most common form of communication between people at picnics and home parties. Scrabble replaced the Sunday self-education program for many, and after the release of Inglourious Basterds last year by Tarantino, almost every forehead hung a color sticker with the name of Michael Jackson or King Kong.

On the fence it says

Two weeks ago, a bill was submitted to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, according to which it is proposed to penalize inscriptions and graffiti of an extremist nature on fences and walls not only by their authors, but also by the owners of the building on which these works appear. According to MPs, "citizens are forced to review such inscriptions daily" and "this phenomenon has swept almost all the settlements."
