Ragout team opened a chain of cafes "Park Express" in the zoo

In the Moscow zoo, in addition to the Glow Sub and the Park Pizza mobile cafes that moved here from Gorky Park, there are now three Park Express cafes opened by the Ragout team. Semen Krymov is responsible for the development of the project.

Two cafes with a covered summer terrace are located on the old territory of the park and one small - on the new one, near the Maritime Theater. The menu is the same in all - a few sandwiches, stews of the day (the recipe changes every two or three days) and sweets: candy, Viennese waffles, pies and pancakes. Ragout and stuffing for sandwiches are prepared in the kitchen of the Ragout bar on Olimpiysky Prospekt - the bar starts working at six in the evening, therefore, in the morning, preparations are made in the kitchen, including for the Express Park. Pancakes and waffles are bought in a friendly bakery, pies are brought from the "Culinary". There is no possibility to prepare sweets in the cafe: there is no sewage and water.

Cafe Park Express has been working in the zoo since the end of May, all this time the team tested the menu, adapting to an unusual audience. As a result, starting with sandwiches from the “Ragu” menu, the fillings were greatly simplified later.

People who visit the zoo come from different places, not only from Moscow, that is, this is not Gorky Park. Their tastes are different, including those that allow cafes with whites and pasties to successfully work in the zoo. On the one hand, we want to make classy quality food, on the other, in order to reconcile visitors to the zoo with a changing reality, we hung flower pots and funny curtains on the verandas. So it’s difficult to notice the substitution with the naked eye.

In addition to what is already on the cafe menu, we want to cook fries there and put a grill.
