The democratic meat restaurant with the ideology of informed consumption Meat Puppets is a new project by Dmitry Levitsky, co-owner and manager of the Hurma Management Group, a network of bars. It is located on the site of Levitsky’s recently closed Puppets Pistols bar on Novoslobodskaya Street and is only part of the plan to capture the building.

They call the "Birreria" a gastronomic pub, implying the presence of a large beer card and Italian cuisine verified in past establishments.
